CHARLOTTE, N.C. — MEDIC says 10 people were treated for non-life threatening injuries following a residential fire in east Charlotte, according to MEDIC.
At about 4:45 a.m. Friday morning, the Charlotte Fire Department responded to a call on Manchester Lane, near Albemarle Road. Firefighters reported seeing smoke and flames.
MEDIC says patients were transported to Atrium Health for treatment due to burns and smoke inhalation.
Investigators say the fire was accidental and started in the kitchen.
