Wilson’s World: Previewing Corn Hole For Camp 2019 at Triple C Brewing
Cornhole for Camp Blue Skies Tournament at Triple City Brewing this Saturday, April 27th.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – It was a little too early for a brew this morning, but Wilson was at Triple C Brewing for an entirely different purpose. He was there to tell us about this weekend’s ‘Cornhole for Camp’ tournament that will be at Triple C on Saturday. The tournament is being held to raise funds and awareness for Camp Blue Skies Foundation.
Dick Sesler, founder of Camp Blue Skies Foundation, talked with Wilson about the the mission of the foundation. At Camp Blue Skies, people who are 21 and older with developmental disabilities will enjoy recreational activities indoors and outside, along with lots of fun and friendship. Campers can challenge themselves in a safe environment to enhance their interests and abilities while increasing social skills and confidence. Camp Blue Skies is a 501 (c)(3) public charity.
Wilson had a chance to talk with two of the campers from Camp Blue Sky about their experiences at the camp and what they enjoyed most about attending the camp.
The annual ‘Cornhole for Camp’ tournament is this Saturday, April 27 at Triple C Brewing at 2900 Griffith St in Charlotte. Teams and individuals are encouraged to enter. Register or find out more about the event at their website at campblueskies.org.
