Wilson’s World: At Roots Cafe Previewing the Alzheimer’s Association’s “Memory Gala”

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson was enjoying a little avocado toast for breakfast this morning at Roots Cafe in South End before he talked with members of the Alzheimer’s Association Western Carolina Chapter about their upcoming Memory Gala in May.
The Alzheimer’s Association will hold their 3rd Annual Memory Gala at the Westin Hotel on Saturday, May 11th. The event is held as a fundraiser for the association in helping to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease and dementia through research and the promotion of brain health as well as to provide and enhance care and support for all affected.
The Memory Gala will not only include great fun, food and music, but some wonderful items up for auction as well. A chef prepared dinner for 8 people by Roots Cafe is just one of the items that also include pro sports tickets and beach excursions.
