Ennio Ivan Santios-Solorzano, 24, has been charged with First Degree Murder following the death of 43-year-old Claudio Pedro Palomares.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The CMPD is investigating after a man stabbed his roommate to death in an east Charlotte apartment early Friday morning.
On April 25th, 2019, CMPD officers responded to a call in the 4500 block of Perth Court. Arriving officers found a man who had been stabbed multiple times inside an apartment. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the victim and the suspect lived together in the apartment and had a physical altercation, which led to the fatal stabbing. The suspect called 911 and remained at the scene until police arrived.
The suspect was taken to Atrium Health and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
