Wilson’s World: Celebrating the “Other” Halloween at Morris Costumes
Having fun celebrating Saint Walpurgis night exactly 6 months before Halloween.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson was with “witch” Megan at Morris Costumes this morning celebrating Walpurgis night. He was inside and outside of the building dressed in his best warlock ensemble having fun with poor morning commuters.
And just what is Walpurgis night? Celebrated on April 30 in northern Europe and Scandinavia, the holiday is celebrated by dressing in costumes, playing pranks on people, and creating loud noises meant to keep evil at bay. The “halfway to Halloween” holiday has started gaining popularity in the United States.
Morris Costumes will be officially celebrating Walpurgis Night at their superstore on Saturday, May 11th beginning at 12pm. To find out more about the event, check out Morris Costumes on their Facebook page HERE.
