Wilson’s World: Hanging with CMPD AC&C at Max & Lola Bodega

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  It was a little early for Wilson to be hanging out at beer and wine bar, but this morning was for a good reason.  He was at Max & Lola Bodega where he was joined by Melissa Knicely of CMPD Animal Care & Control to talk about AC&C’s new ‘staycation’ program.

AC&C’s Staycation Foster program is all about the animals at the shelter.  Volunteers who would like to foster a dog but don’t have the time to be a full time foster can offer a few days as a ‘staycation.’  The dog gets a few days away from the shelter while the volunteer gets to spend some time with a loving pet.

CMPD AC&C will be at Max & Lola Bodega from noon until 2pm on Saturday to talk about their Staycation program. Stop in and check out their ‘staycation bingo.’  To find out more about the program and the dogs they have available for the program check them out at their website HERE or follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Max & Lola Bodega is located at 1501 South Mint Street at the corner of Mint & West Summit Street in Charlotte.  They have  a very chill vibe and offer great wine and beer with 19 taps, ample patio seating, food trucks and the Queen City’s first CBD cocktail bar.
