YORK COUNTY, S.C. — Crews are working to repair a water main break in York County impacting Blue Granite and York County Water & Sewer customers in the Lake Wylie area.
York Water & Sewer customers north of Concord Road will likely be affected as well as Blue Granite customers in the Lake Wylie area. Blue Granite and York County are encouraging customers to voluntarily conserve water until the repairs are complete.
The repairs are expected to take a few hours to compete if no complications arise, and customers may experience periods of low pressure or outages during the process.
Officials say customers will receive notification through Blue Granite Water Company’s My Utility Connect system if a boil water advisory is necessary.
Notification will also be sent when the repairs are completed and the water system is working normally.
