Wilson’s World: STEM Education with Mt. Mourne Middle School at zMax Dragway

CONCORD, N.C. – Wilson was at zMax Dragway at Charlotte Motor Speedway where students from Mt. Mourne Middle School were enjoying a STEM field trip.  Wilson followed the kids through each of the stations of their field trip talking with the kids about their experience.

The STEM program at Charlotte Motor Speedway offers students a fun and educational experience. Students will relate motorsports to core principles of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics by navigating through various hands-on stations.  After they have gone through the hands-on stations, the students get to experience the 24 degree banking of CMS when they take a van ride around the 1.5 mile NASCAR track.

STEM Field Trips are booked at the speedway Monday – Friday at zMAX Dragway at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Bruton Smith Boulevard in Concord.  Each session last about 3.5 hours.  Get more information on the program HERE.
