CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The CMPD is investigating a shooting at a motel on Yorkmont Road near South Tryon Street.
According to the CMPD, the shooting happened at the Extended Stay motel shortly before 5 a.m. Wednesday morning.
MEDIC says the victim has serious injuries but is expected to survive.
Authorities say the shooting may have stemmed from an argument earlier in the night.
