Art Alexakis Of Everclear Brings His Songs And Stories Tour To Charlotte | PHOTOS

Art Alexakis, the lead singer of the popular 90’s alternative band Everclear, brought his Songs and Stories tour to McGlohon Theater in Charlotte.

This unique tour also features Chris Collingwood of Fountains of Wayne, Max Collins of Eve 6 and John Wozniak of Marcy Playground.

Each frontman performed solo and told stories in between each song followed by group performances throughout the evening covering songs by Tom Petty, REM, The Band and many more.

The show ended with a Q&A session that shed light on how certain songs were written as well as some special requests from the audience.

Charlotte is the halfway point for the tour which will stop in Nashville tonight for a show at City Winery.  The tour ends on June 13th at Wave in Wichita, Kansas.
