Five Arrested After Deputies Say They Observed Suspicious Behavior In Statesville
STATESVILLE, N.C. — Five people are facing various drug and larceny charges after Iredell County Deputies say they observed them acting suspiciously in a Statesville parking lot.
According to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office, deputies with the Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team and Narcotics Detectives observed a suspicious group of people near a vehicle parked at the Home Run Market on Broad Street in Statesville.
After approaching the individuals, deputies noticed narcotics and drug paraphernalia in plain sight. Deputies searched the vehicle and and located heroin, cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Also located was a Dewalt Tool Kit which had been stolen from Lowes in Statesville and was valued at $550.00
Deputies discovered all five people had various outstanding warrants from Forsyth County, Davidson County, Guilford County, and Iredell County. All five were arrested and taken to the Iredell County Detention Center.
Grayson Thor Miller was charged with: Felony Possession of Heroin, and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He also had five felony, and 11 misdemeanor warrants for his arrest from Forsyth County, Guilford County and Davison County for multiple felony larcenies, felony possession of cocaine, multiple misdemeanor larcenies, and misdemeanor drugs charges. Miller received a $41,000.00 dollars secured bond. Miller has a criminal history, and is currently on probation for Felony Obtaining Property by False Pretense.
Kathryn Kerr Lowery was charged with Felony Possession of Cocaine, and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Lowery also was served an outstanding warrant for her arrest out of Iredell County for Felony Aid and Abet Larceny. Lowery received a $5,000.00 dollars secured bond. Lowery has been convicted of multiple misdemeanor larcenies, shoplifting, misdemeanor possession of a schedule II controlled substance, resisting a public officer, DWI, criminal contempt, and other traffic related charges.
Lola Ferre Edwards was charged with Felony Possession of Heroin, Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana, and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Edwards was also served an outstanding Order for Arrest out of Forsyth County for Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Misdemeanor Larceny. Edwards received a $5,300.00 dollars secured bond. Edwards is currently on probation for misdemeanor possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Charles Franklin McClure was arrested and served an outstanding warrant from Iredell County for two counts of Felony Larceny. McClure received a $2,500.00 dollars secured bond. McClure has been convicted in the past for misdemeanor larceny and misdemeanor obstructing justice.
Jessica Brooke Morrow was arrested and served an outstanding Order for Arrest for Misdemeanor Probation Violation out of Davidson County. Morrow was issued a $5,000.00 dollars secured bond. Morrow is currently on probation for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and has been convicted in the past for multiple misdemeanor assaults, misdemeanor possession of schedule VI controlled substance, possession of marijuana, multiple possession of drug paraphernalia charges, misdemeanor larceny, injury to personal property, misdemeanor solicit to obtain property by false pretenses, and multiple traffic charges.
