Cam Newton Will Throw At Panthers Minicamp

CHARLOTTE — Cam Newton’s recovery from off-season shoulder surgery continues to take positive strides.

The Panthers announced Newton will throw at the team’s three-day minicamp which begins on Tuesday.

Newton underwent an arthroscopic procedure on his right shoulder in January.

The quarterback did not throw during OTA’s but is now scheduled to throw during all QB drills during minicamp. Newton will also throw a limited amount to stationary targets. It is unclear when Newton will start participating in team drills.
