Wilson’s World: Enjoying Summer Camp at the Harris YMCA
There are still spots available at the YMCA summer camps for both counselors and campers.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – It’s summer camp time! And as some of you might know, Wilson was a summer camp counselor (yep, he was). So he always enjoys getting a chance to visit the summer camp at the Harris YMCA.
This morning Wilson was checking out the camps brand new adventure “challenge by choice” course where the campers can enjoy 19 different elements on the course that challenge campers from the age of 4 to 94. The elements have state of the art safety technology to keep campers safe while moving through the course. The adventure course also includes 12 tree houses as part of the course.
The Cato Education Center includes 10 classrooms, a teaching kitchen and an open-air gymnasium with basketball goals and fans to keep the kids cool while they are playing. And of course there is the outdoor pool and the splash park.
The Harris YMCA is located at 5900 Quail Hollow Road in Charlotte.
