Tebow Time At BB&T Ballpark As Knights Return Home
Charlotte Knights Host Tim Tebow And Syracuse Mets
TEBOW! TEBOW! TEBOW! Sorry… I couldn’t resist!
After five games on the road, it’s home sweet home for the Charlotte Knights, who opened up a six-game (five day) homestand on Tuesday night, starting with the Syracuse Mets.
While former Heisman winning quarterback Tim Tebow was at BB&T Ballpark, the current Mets outfielder was in the dugout instead of the lineup. He is expected to play on Wednesday night when the two teams take the field for game two of the three game series.
Former New York Mets star Mookie Wilson will be on hand to sign autographs and throw out the ceremonial first pitch on Wednesday night.
Game two is scheduled to begin at 7:05pm.
The Charlotte Knights began their homestand with a 4-3 loss in 10 innings to the Syracuse Mets on Tuesday night at BB&T Ballpark.
