Deputies Arrest 2 Suspects Accused Of Stealing Over 60 Guns From Chesterfield County Home

The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office says two suspects have been charged with stealing more than 60 guns from a home in May.
Julian Griffin, 18, is charged with First-Degree Burglary, Grand Larceny and Safecracking. Jacob Bush, 22, is charged with Grand Larceny.
According to deputies, 17 guns have been recovered so far along with a crossbow and ammunition.
On May 30th, officials say 66-70 guns were stolen from a home on Providence Church Road.
This is an ongoing investigation.

CHESTERFIELD, S.C. — Deputies are investigating after someone stole approximately 60 guns from a home in Chesterfield County.
When deputies arrived on the scene at the home on Providence Church Road in Pageland they noticed a safe was sitting in the front yard and it had been busted open, according to a police report.
The homeowner said the safe had approximately 60 weapons inside. Authorities say the weapons were valued at $1,ooo,ooo. Several tools, a crossbow and two compound bows were also taken, according to the report.
The homeowner told deputies he had been staying with his disabled brother since February but would check on his property a couple times a week.
No other information has been released at this time and no arrests have been made. Anyone with information on this breaking and entering is asked to call the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office at 843-623-2101.
