Wilson’s World: Getting a Little ‘Buggy’ at Discovery Place Science

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson got a little ‘buggy’ this morning while he was in Uptown Charlotte visiting Discovery Place Science.  Luckily he was joined by Discovery Place’s Rihanna who has no fear of bugs, spiders or anything creepy…in fact she loves her job!

Rihanna was with Wilson in the Explore More Life Lab where kids can enjoy a hands on experience that engages them in real life exploration and real-world science.  Wilson was introduced to some interesting, unique and pretty scary bugs and insects.  In fact, he even touched a tarantula…really quickly.

The lab activities are constantly evolving and changing but always include dynamic activities that provide opportunities to explore big ideas. Activities are fun for all ages and skill levels.
