LANCASTER, SC — A 51-year-old man has been charged in connection to several commercial burglaries that took place throughout the months of April and May.
Dennis Robertson was arrested on Friday, June 14th for a burglary that occurred at Elgin Feed and Garden Center on April 2nd. Since his arrest, deputies say warrants connected to seven additional burglaries have been served on him.
In each of the crimes, investigators say the suspect gained or tried to gain access to the business by breaking glass windows and doors during overnight hours. The suspect reportedly stole cash, cigarettes and/or tobacco products during the commission of these crimes.

Deputies say they identified Robertson as the suspect, and arrested him at his home on Kendelwood Drive. While searching the residence, investigators say they also discovered Buprenorphine Hydrochloride and Naloxone Hydrochloride pills.
Robertson is charged with seven counts of Burglary Second Degree, one count of Attempted Burglary Second Degree, and Possession of a Prescription Drug without a Prescription.
He is currently being held at the Lancaster County Detention Center.
