CALDWELL COUNTY, NC — Deputies have charged 48-year-old Grecia Barlowe with setting fire to two homes, including her own.
Barlowe is accused of intentionally setting fire to a home on Log Cabin Place in Lenoir on May 23, 2019, and her own home on Grace Chapel Road in July of 2018.
For the Log Cabin Place fire, Barlowe is charged with one count of 1st Degree Arson and 2 counts of Attempted 1st Degree Murder.
Barlowe is charged with one count of 2nd Degree Arson and Insurance Fraud in connection to the 2018 fire at her home on Grace Chapel.
She has received a combined bond of $500,000 and has a first appearance in court scheduled for Monday, July 1st.
