Wilson’s World: Visiting the Players & Coaches of the Carolina Champions League US Club Soccer

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson was with players and coaches of the Charlotte Metro FC of the Carolina Champions League at the Creative Player Foundation on Wilkinson Blvd this morning where he was learning more about the league and how kids can get involved.

The Carolina Champions League gives boys and girls of all backgrounds the opportunity to play together the sport of soccer.  Their mission is to create a positive culture among local clubs to develop and create their own identity! And to grow the game through collaboration and values focused on player development.

The Creative Player Foundtion provides access to sport education and educational enrichment opportunities, removing the socioeconomic and cultural barriers that prevent children in at-risk urban communities from participating due to cost.

The Charlotte area is not the only place where kids can get involved with the Carolina Champions League.  The league also has teams in Raleigh and Asheville as well.
