Lancaster County Traffic Stop Leads To 3 Arrests On Stolen Property, Drug Charges
LANCASTER COUNTY, SC — Deputies say three suspects were arrested Monday night on charges related to stolen property and drugs.
The arrests resulted from a traffic stop around 8pm on Possum Hollow Road. Deputies say Bryan Watters, 48, of Indian Land was spotted driving while being known to have a suspended license.
During the stop, authorities reportedly determined that a trailer attached to Watters’ truck had been reported stolen out of Pineville, NC.
As a result, investigators say search warrants were obtained and executed for his home on Possum Hollow Road.
Deputies arrested two other residents at the home, Joseph Miller, 59, and Ashley Helms, 39, after reportedly finding an unspecified amount of methamphetamine and marijuana inside.
Watters is charged with Possession of Stolen Property Enhancement, Driving Under Suspension, Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine and Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana.
Miller and Helms were each charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine.
