Wilson’s World: At Fuel Pizza Getting Ready for the 18th Annual 24 Hours of Booty

The 18th Annual 24 Hours of Booty begins at 7pm on Friday, July 26th and concludes at 7pm Saturday, July 27th.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – This year will mark the 18th year that bikers and walkers will come together in Myers Park  to take on the Booty Loop raising funds for Levine Cancer Institute, Levine Children’s Hospital, LIVESTRONG Foundation, and Queen’s University.

Wilson was with the 24 Foundation this morning at Fuel Pizza in South End where he was having fun with bikers, walkers, and volunteers as they get ready for Friday’s 18th Annual 24 Hours of Booty.

This year’s ride begins at 7pm on Friday, July 26th and concludes at 7pm Saturday, July 27th.

Again this year participants will be able to walk the booty loop.  So not only bike riders, but also those who enjoy a good walk can help to fund programs for advancing cancer survivorship and  navigation programs.

Wilson talked with  Giordana Andretta with Giordana Cycling about her work with the different teams preparing tee shirts and gear for the teams for the ride.

To obtain more information for the 24 Foundation as well as 24 Hours of Booty, go to their website at 24foundation.org.   And even if you aren’t walking or riding,  come out and cheer on those who are.

The 24 Foundation is still in need of volunteers for the event.  Find out more information on how you can volunteer at their website 24foundation.org.

Big thanks to Fuel Pizza, who each year throws a midnight pizza party during the 24 hours of Booty.
