Morganton Man Accused Of Stealing Over $3,000 Worth Of Tools, Materials From Construction Site

BURKE COUNTY, NC — Deputies have arrested a man they say stole more than $3,000 worth of building materials and tools from a construction site.

Jesse Ethridge is accused of breaking into the construction and stealing a large amount of tools and construction materials.

Deputies say Ehtridge was arrested at his Crystal Creek Road home after being identified as the suspect. The stolen items were recovered following his arrest, according to officials, and have been returned to their owners.

Ethridge is charged with Felony Larceny, Second-Degree Burglary, and Driving While License Revoked. Officials say additional charges are pending.
