Alleged “Pink Lady Bandit” Bank Robbery Suspects Captured In Charlotte

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has arrested two people in connection with four bank robberies, in three states, linked to the Pink Lady Bandit.’
On Sunday, the Charlotte FBI arrested 35-year-old Circe Baez and 38-year-old Alexis Morales for their involvement in four robberies along the east coast.
The robberies occurred in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, on July 20th; Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, on July 23rd; Ayden, North Carolina, on July 24th, and Hamlet, North Carolina, on July 26th.
Authorities located and arrested the pair, without incident, at the Charlotte Speedway Inn & Suites on West Sugar Creek Road in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The suspects were taken to the Pitt County Detention Center, where they are each being held on a $4 million bond.
They are currently charged with the robberies in Ayden and Hamlet, North Carolina. Baez is also charged in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
More charges by state and federal agencies are likely, according to officials.

CHARLOTTE, NC — The FBI is looking for a serial bank robber known as the “Pink Lady Bandit.” They say she is responsible for bank robberies in North Carolina, Delaware and Pennsylvania.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic female, between 5’2″ and 5’4″ and weighing roughly 130 pounds. In two of the robberies, authorities say she was wearing yoga pants, tank tops, a navy baseball hat and carrying a pink handbag.
Investigators say she is responsible for several robberies along the East Coast.
The first robbery was reported on July 20th at the Orrstown Bank on Giant Lane in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. A second robbery took place on July 23rd at the M&T Bank on Camelot Drive in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
Investigators say the most recent robbery happened in Ayden, North Carolina on July 24th at the Southern Bank on West 3rd Street.
In each of these cases, the FBI says the suspect handed the teller a note demanding money. No injuries have been reported.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the local FBI Office or authorities. The FBI says a $10,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.
