Lancaster Man Charged With Multiple Drug And Weapons Related Offenses
LANCASTER COUNTY, SC — A Lancaster man accused of trafficking cocaine and crack cocaine has been arrested following a raid on his home late last week.
Officials say Darrell Bailey, 32, was not at home when Drug Task Force agents with the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office executed search warrants on his 15th Street home on Friday, July 26th. Inside they reportedly found 112 grams (four ounces) of suspected Cocaine, 14 grams of suspected Crack Cocaine, a small amount of suspected Marijuana, digital scales and a Glock 9 mm handgun with an extended magazine.
Following the search, warrants were obtained for Bailey’s arrest.
He was located and arrested Monday morning, officials say, and charged with Trafficking Cocaine 100-200 Grams, Trafficking Crack Cocaine 10-28 Grams, two counts of Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance within Proximity of a Park, Simple Possession of Marijuana, and two counts of Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Violent Crime.
“Agents got enough cocaine and crack cocaine to charge Bailey with two counts of trafficking,” said Sheriff Barry Faile. “The cocaine trafficking charge is a third-level offense by weight. We look forward to this case making its way into the court system.”
