Cam Newton Focused On Growth As Panthers Go Through Training Camp

SPARTANBUBRG, S.C. — Cam Newton spoke with the media for the first time since offseason shoulder surgery on Thursday.

The Panthers quarterback took a scheduled rest day as he continues to recover from surgery, calling his rehab “a work in progress.”

Newton is working on a new compact throwing motion and has shown great strides of growth throughout training camp.
