Cam Newton Exits Preseason Game With Foot Injury
FOXBOROUGH, MA — One of the Panthers worst fears was realized in their Thursday night preseason game against the New England Patriots.
Cam Newton left the game in the first quarter with a foot injury. Newton walked to the locker room on his own power but did not return to the game.
The injury occurred while Newton attempted to scramble as the pocket collapsed, he was sacked by Adam Butler.
Following the game the only update head coach Ron Rivera provided was saying that Newton was in a walking boot.
