Wilson’s World: Previewing the South End Wine Fest Benefiting Classroom Central
The South End Wine Fest will be held on Saturday, October 19th with proceeds benefiting Classroom Central
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson was in South End this morning doing his best trying to pronounce the names of some of the wines that will available for sampling at the upcoming South End Wine Fest. Luckily he was joined by a few people who have a great appreciation for wine and could help him out. Blaine Jackson, CEO of NewDominion Bank, also joined Wilson to talk about the event and its connection with Classroom Central.

Wine lovers can enjoy wines from all over the world. There will also be a beer garden and cider as well as food trucks and music by New Local Band.
The event will be held from 2pm until 6pm at 308 W. Carson Blvd (a Panthers’ tailgate lot). Tickets are available for VIP tables, early admission, general admission and even for non-drinking designated drivers. Purchase tickets on-line or avoid transaction fees and purchase them in person at the Carolina Tix box office located in the lobby of the Belk Theater, 130 N. Tryon. On Friday night the 18th there will be a Wine Fest Eve dinner at Angeline’s, 303 S. Church Street. Attendees will enjoy a 6 course meal paired with the perfect wines.
