Olympic Squeaks Past Independence For Second Win Of Season

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Independence made a furious second half comeback but came up just short missing the game tying extra point with eight seconds remaining in the game to give Olympic the 29-28 win.

The Trojans jumped out to a 21-0 lead entering halftime behind a solid ground attack highlighted by Nashawn Pritchett and Cameron Smith.

With 6:30 left in the fourth quarter the Patriots capped off there 22-0 scoring run to take the 22-21 lead.

Olympic would answer with a touchdown run of their own to take control of the game for good.

Both schools are now 2-1 on the season
