In North Carolina, more than 170,000 are living with Alzheimer’s disease, and over 473,000 family and friends are providing care. Over 5.7 million Americans suffer from Alzheimer’s and it is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States with 1 in 3 seniors dying from Alzeheimer’s or some other form of dementia.
