CHARLOTTE, NC — Police say a man shot early Sunday morning in Uptown has died from injuries.
According to CMPD, 26-year-old Labrecton Love was shot around 2:36am on Hamilton Street near the NC Music Factory. Love was reportedly found near a parking deck and transported by Medic to Atrium Health CMC in critical condition.
On Monday, police say Love died from injuries.
Authorities have not released any information on a possible suspect or what may have led to the shooting.
Love is Charlotte’s 79th homicide of 2019.
