Mallard Creek Edges Vance Behind Strong Second Half

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The I-MECK 4A conference opener got off to a strong start between No. 2 Vance and No. 4 Mallard Creek.

A capacity crowd saw Mallard Creek get the 17-7 win. The Cougars led 7-3 at halftime.

It is Vance’s first loss of the season. The Mavericks remain undefeated.
