Wilson’s World: Deaf Awareness Day At The Carolina Renaissance Festival

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — This morning, Wilson was frolicking at the Carolina Renaissance Festival with a preview of this weekend’s fun, including Deaf Awareness Day.

Saturday, November 2nd, is Deaf Awareness Day at the Carolina Renaissance Festival.  Certified Sign Language Interpreters will interpret stage performances at the Festival and student interpreters will be available to assist with communication in the Village lanes.

Popular Deaf and Silent storyteller Dack Virnig will be performing as the Queen’s special guest.

Members of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community can SAVE with half price adult admission and free child admission.
