All American Game Of The Week Preview: Vance And Butler

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The playoffs are here and so are the marquee matchups. Round one of the postseason in North Carolina high school football begins on Friday, and the road to winning a state title in 4A will go through Charlotte.

Butler, winners of four straight, will host Vance for a kickoff set for 7:30pm.

The Cougars played in the 4AA state championship game last year and are 8-2 on the season. They lost to Hough last week 42-28, the most points they’ve given up in over two years.

Butler (8-3) is battle tested and won four straight.
