Wilson’s World: Celebrating The 10th Anniversary Of Camp Blue Skies

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –This morning, Wilson was at the Levine Jewish Community Center celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Camp Blue Skies.

Camp Blue Skies is a 501(c)(3) public charity, founded by Dick Sesler, which offers camps for adults with developmental disabilities to help enhance their lives through recreation, socialization and life skills education.  The camp takes place December 6th-8th at Camp Thunderbird through a partnership with the Levine Jewish Community Center and the YMCA of Greater Charlotte.

In honor of the 10th anniversary Camp Blue Skies has partnered with Reason To Bake Cookies to create boxes of Lemon Blueberry Oatmeal Camp Blue Skies Cookie that can be purchased HERE, for just $10.  According to Sesler, “The cookie is one of the ways to make camp available to more adults with developmental disabilities, provide respite to families and caregivers, and change the lives of our volunteers.”
