Wilson’s World: Wilson’s 2019 27 Hour Stuff the Truck Event for the Salvation Army Angel Tree

Wilson's 2019 27 Hour Stuff the Truck Event for the Salvation Army Angel Tree continues through 9am this Friday.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -It’s a chilly beginning for the 27 hour countdown of Wilson’s annual Subway Salvation Army Angel Tree Stuff the Truck event!  He kicked off the stuff the truck event this morning at 6am and will be hanging out there until 9am tomorrow morning.

The Angel Tree program helps families in need by providing gifts that will be distributed to families over the holidays.  The event is also a drop off location for people who have already adopted Angels from the Angel Tree.  And if you haven’t yet adopted an Angel, you can do so at the event.

You will find Wilson and his giant inflatable Santa camping out in the valet parking area in front of the Cheesecake Factory. He will be doing live cut-ins throughout the day today,  checking in during our WCCB News @ Ten tonight and live again tomorrow morning on Rising.

Special thanks to Two Men and a Truck, Subway, SouthPark Mall,  Academy Sports and Outdoors, and Acosta Heating & Cooling for their partnership in the Subway Salvation Army Angel Tree Stuff the Truck event providing the truck, the space and the heaters.

WCCB would love to have you stop by the event and bring a gift for the Angels!  Along with his giant Santa bounce house, guitarist John Clese will be stopping by to play Christmas music.  There will be surprise appearances throughout the day and free prizes from the CW Street Team.  Follow Wilson on social media for more details.
