Weddington Finishes Season Undefeated, Claims Second Straight 3AA Title

RALEIGH, N.C. — Will Shipley and Weddington proved to be way too much for Lee County. The Warriors won their second straight 3AA championship 34-14 courtesy of a monster day from the North Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year. Shipley ran for 256 yards and 4 touchdown’s on 26 carries.

It’s the Warriors third title in four years.
