FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) — The Fairfield Co. Coroner’s office says a Charlotte man died in an ATV accident over the weekend at Carolina Adventure World.
Officials say Richard Swaney, 23, of Charlotte died Saturday when the ATV he was riding at Carolina Adventure World rolled over and pinned him underneath.
Carolina Adventure World is the largest ATV, UTV and dirt bike riding park in the southeast. It is located off I-77 between Charlotte, North Carolina and Columbia, South Carolina.
No other details have been released at this time. The accident remains under investigation.
