Wilson’s World: Supporting the Ronald McDonald House at McDonald’s in on Main Street in Belmont
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson celebrated Valentine’s Day showing his support for The Ronald McDonald House by donning a red Ronald McDonald wig and causing chaos at the McDonald’s on Main Street in Belmont.
Yes, it was a fun morning, but it was for a serious cause. Wilson was at McDonald’s to talk about the upcoming ‘Sport a Shirt, Share a Night’ event on May 1 to support the Ronald McDonald Houses of North Carolina. Participants purchase a $10 tee shirt to ‘sport’ to raise funds to ‘share’ the cost of a family’s stay at the House. The shirts are now available to purchase online HERE. Be sure to pick up a shirt and wear it proudly on May 1st.
When you stop in or hit the drive thru at Charlotte area McDonald’s you can purchase a shamrock shake and 25 cents of the purchase will go to RMH For every shamrock shake sold twenty-five cents will go to RMH charity. And, you can also round up the cost of your purchase to help as well.
Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte provides a safe, affordable and caring “home-away-from-home” for the families of children receiving treatment in Charlotte-area medical facilities. Families are stronger when they are together, and this is never more important than when a child is sick or injured.
