Wilson’s World: At C3 Lab Previewing George’s Rescue Reunion with CMPD Animal Care & Control

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Normally it’s Wilson hosting community events, but now it’s his best friend’s turn. Wilson’s four pawed, canine companion George Harrison will be hosting his first ever Rescue Reunion at C3Lab next month.

Wilson joined George this morning to tell us more about this reunion that George will be throwing for all of his fellow rescue dogs from CMPD Animal Care and Control. The party will feature vendors with cool stuff for dogs and their parents!

There was a big announcement regarding the event thanks to one of our partners. To raise money for AC&C Harris Teeter will be raffling off one year of free dog food thanks to Purina! And that is no small prize! Harris Teeter is also donating free coupons for dog food to AC&C.

Subaru will be at the event as well as part of their Subaru Loves Pets program. They will be giving away dog toys for the four legged attendees as well as information about how to care for your pets during travel, disasters and more. And they will be holding a raffle for a backpack for the two legged attendees.

One of George’s favorite places, Camp Bow Wow will be at the event with their prize wheel as well as information on their doggy care and other services.

Wilson introduced us to a new invention by the company Coolvio. The invention, a bArctic, which is a shade shirt for dogs, is not yet available on the market. But it will be part of a Kickstarter campaign beginning later this month and will be at the Rescue Reunion on for a preview.

Please come and share your rescue dog story! The event is free, but we will be taking donations for CMPD Animal Care to benefit their spay/neuter efforts. When you make a donation to CMPD AC&C you can have a professional picture made with your dog.
