KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. — The Kings Mountain Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian.
Officers responded to Cleveland Avenue near the ABC store in reference to a motor vehicle accident on Sunday around 8:39 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located a pedestrian who has been struck by a vehicle that had fled the scene.
The victim was transported to Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.
Police are looking for a small gray or silver vehicle which should have body damage on the front passenger side.
