Queens Basketball Reacts To A Season Cut Short

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The first round of the NCAA Tournament was supposed to begin on Thursday, but the coronavirus stopped the sports world in it’s tracks.

Nationally ranked Queens University is a Division II power and was poised for another deep run in the NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Championship. The Royals were a No. 2 seed in the Southeast Region and would have begun play last Saturday.

Queens head coach Bart Lundy spoke with Zach Aldridge via Skype to discuss how the team is dealing with the sudden end to the season.
