Wilson’s World: Wilson’s Homeschool with a Hand Washing Video, a Baseball Memory, and Delivery from Amélie’s French Bakery & Café

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  Wilson’s World Homeschool Edition brings us a video from Pineville Elementary School nurse Karen Abruzino that she sent out to the school’s students on the importance of washing your hands.

Wilson was a little sad because today was supposed to be the opening day for Major League Baseball. To honor the day, he goes back into the baseball archives to bring us a broadcast of the 7th game of the 1960 World Series between the Yankees and Pirates.  And he really gets into it.  If you would like to go back into the “wayback machine,” check out archive.org and enjoy browsing through history.

Today’s Wilson’s World Homeschool Edition’s  local business is one that can deliver us a little comfort food… Amélie’s French Bakery & Café.  He talked with ‎Mary Jayne Wilson about their delivery option during this time as well as how ordering their special ‘Box of Love’ which is a dozen French macarons will help benefit  Crisis Assistance Ministry and all of their efforts to provide help hope, and understanding for people struggling with financial issues.  Find out more about Amélie’s French Bakery & Café at their website ameliesfrenchbakery.com  and also on Facebook and other social media platforms.
