Charlotte Restaurant Offering Something Extra With To-Go Meals

CHARLOTTE — A Charlotte restaurant is seeing a spike in their business since the Coronavirus Outbreak.  Now, they’re showing their customers how much they appreciate their loyalty by adding a little something extra with their to-go meals.

DeSarno’s in South Charlotte is a popular take and bake prepared meal restaurant. Owners say after hearing some complaints from some of their customers they got a unique idea.

“We had some customers come in a few weeks ago and they were unable to find toilet paper, so we have a carton of it that we get from our food distributor, so we offered to give them a couple of rolls of toilet paper.  They were very appreciative,” says Kit Caron, DeSarno’s owner.

Stores all across the country can’t keep toilet paper on the shelves.  DeSarno’s customers are pleasantly surprised to see a roll or perhaps two along side their take out meal.  With restaurants struggling to stay afloat during this pandemic, owners of DeSarno’s say adding a little special gift for their customers is the least they can do to show their appreciation.
