Wilson’s World: Checking Out the Mercantile and Learning About Trees and Pollen with the Museum of York County

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  This week’s Wilson’s World: Homeschool Edition ends with a look at a small family business in Rock Hill, The Mercantile.  Stefanie Morris takes us through the store that due to the pandemic is currenlty closed, but their online site is up and ready for business.  More information on The Mercantile and a look at the great items they carry can be found at their website cdmercantile.com.

We also get a little homeschooling in today with a get quick lesson about trees and the pollen that they produce with Cynthia Spratley of the Museum of York County.  Check out these additional resources for kids to ID trees: https://www.arborday.org/trees/whattree/  and  https://www.backyardnature.net/fl_bloak.htm.
