Wilson’s World Homeschool: Going Behind the Scenes with the Veterinarians at the The Riverbanks Zoo

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  Going behind the scenes with the veterinarians at the The Riverbanks Zoo & Garden is something most people don’t get to do.  But this  morning’s visit with Milo Anderson gave us the opportunity to do  just that.  We went inside the zoo’s animal hospital at the vets gave Savannah, a river otter,  her regularly scheduled check up and learn more about what the vets do to keep the animals healthy and happy.  And just so everyone knows…it was only a short time later that Savannah was awake, swimming and having fun after she received her clean bill of health!  You can check out some of the pics that were taken while Savannah was having her wellness exam on the zoo’s Facebook page HERE.
