Cabarrus Center For Innovation And Entrepreneurship Announces Pre-Launch Event On September 22nd

CONCORD, N.C. — Cabarrus Economic Development Corporation announces the development of the Cabarrus Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, with the help of Flywheel, virtual Pre-launch Community Celebration on September 22nd, according to a news release.

Using Flywheel’s online platform, Cabarrus Center officials say they will invite entrepreneurs, start-ups, small businesses, and community members to join the live, virtual networking event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. sponsored by Wells Fargo and the Center.

Cabarrus Center officials say their purpose is to help grow the local economy with supportive community initiatives, and this Center will provide a physical location where services, mentor networks, education, capital access, and collaboration programs can come together to support the creation of new businesses and help growing small businesses.

Flywheel’s decision to create one of their innovative, active co-working spaces in Concord inspired the creation of the Cabarrus Center on Union Street, according to a news release.

Located in downtown Concord, Cabarrus Economic Development Corporation, along with program partners will occupy suites in the Flywheel space in order to co-locate their programs with the Flywheel Foundation including a newly formed Entrepreneurship Council, according to a news release.

Cabarrus County officials say The Entrepreneurship Council supports the Cabarrus Center and its programs and service that will be offered.
