Wilson’s World: Rick Ware Racing Team will Honor Veterans Bridge Home During ROVAL™ 400

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – In a show of support for veterans and their families the Rick Ware Racing Team will be racing a Veterans Bridge Home car this weekend at the Bank of America ROVAL™ 400.  Steven Cole with Veterans Bridge Home talked with Wilson about the importance of bringing attention to Veterans Bridge Home.

Based in Charlotte, Veterans Bridge  Home connects veterans and their families, in any state of transition, to the local community.  For  over 10 years, with their network of partners, they have been helping veterans navigate new employment, create social connections, and settle their families in the community.

This Sunday, October 11th the #53 car of the Rick Ware Racing team will be racing with the logo of Veterans Bridge Home on their car to help raise awareness for the charity. Fans are encouraged to support veterans and their families by texting “Give2Vets” to 243-725 or by visiting www.veteransbridgehome.org/nascar.

The need is always there to help returning veterans and their families.  To find out more about Veterans Bridge Home connect with them at their website veteransbridgehome.org.
