Wilson’s World Homeschool: Getting a Closer Look at the Creepy Crawlies at the Riverbanks Zoo
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Halloween is the month for ghouls, goblins and creepy crawlies. And this morning Milo Anderson at the Riverbanks Zoo & Gardens gives us an up close look at one of those creepy crawlies…the Madagascar hissing cockroach. Milo also talked about their ‘Boo at the Zoo’ event that will be happening nightly for 8 days from October 23rd to October 30th. This family friendly event will be held outside and will begin at 5pm each night. Tickets are required and all social distancing guidelines will be followed. The Riverbanks Zoo & Gardens in Columbia, S.C. is open, but for a limited number of visitors each day and reserved timed tickets are required for entry.
