Wilson’s World Homeschool: The Haunting History of the Gold Mines in Charlotte with Zach the Historian


CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Our guy, Zach the Historian at Historical Center of York County kicked off October and his Halloween history month earlier this month talking about the origins of trick-or-treating.  Today Wilson is back with Zach to see which Halloween tie he is wearing and find learn more about the haunted gold mines in the Charlotte area.

Zach tells us about the Carolina Gold Rush in 1799 which began Reed Gold Mine as well as some of  the stories about haunted gold mines in Charlotte.
