Wilson’s World: A Pop-up Food Pantry Tuesday at the Stratford Richardson YMCA

CHARLOTTE, N.C.  – Wilson was joined by  Lisa Riggsbee‎ of  YMCA Greater Charlotte about the pop-up food pantry that will be at the Stratford Richardson YMCA on Tuesday, 10/27.  The YMCA has joined together with Loaves and Fishes Charlotte Mecklenburg and Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina to distribute fresh food items to those in need with two pop-up food pantries this week.

On Tuesday  the pop-up food pantry at Stratford Richardson YMCA, 1946 West Blvd. in Charlotte, will be open from 2:30pm until 3:30pm  for their neighbors in need.  Food will be based on inventory available and participants must pre-register HERE.  On Wednesday the pop-up pantry will again be from 2:30pm until 3:30pm but at the Simmons YMCA, 6824 Democracy Drive in Charlotte, participants must pre-register  Here.

Both events are no-contact and will have volunteers there to load cars.  More information on the pop-up pantries can be found on the Loaves & Fishes website loavesandfishes.org.
